Voxware showcases cloud-based voice solution
January 23, 2013 - MMH Editorial
Voxware (Booth 3550) is offering a pay-as-you-go cloud-based voice service suited to small businesses and Fortune 100 companies alike.
According to Keith Phillips, president and CEO at Voxware, the service simplifies entry into voice picking for customers transitioning from older technologies. The concerns around the security and reliability of cloud have been resolved, he says, and the system can be deployed and operational in as little as two weeks after a contract is signed.
“Cloud is now seen as a legitimate platform for voice solutions,” said Phillips. “In many cases, it lines up with a company’s overall corporate strategy to move to the cloud.”
The per-user monthly fee allows customers to pay for what they use, especially during peak seasons. After five consecutive years of using the service, customers’ equipment will be replaced with the newest version at no additional cost.
ProMat 2013 is scheduled to be held January 21-24, 2013 in Chicago’s McCormick Place South. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete ProMat 2013 coverage.
